In 2026, our project schedule is bigger than ever; in fact, it’s our busiest year to date.

This year, we’re collaborating with Encounter Festival to create something bold, immersive and unforgettable. Inspired by Preston’s rich textile heritage and the iconic Horrockses Fashions era, we’re stepping back in time to celebrate the glamour of ready-to-wear cotton fashion once seen across the city streets.

As part of the project, we are commissioning eight brand-new illuminated oversized stilt dresses, alongside twelve additional dresses created through community sewing workshops across Preston. These workshops will take place with local partners including The Harris, Foxton Centre and October Salon.
