Last updated: 9 June 2026

This page is a practical template. If you add analytics, adverts, tracking pixels or marketing tools later, you should add a proper cookie consent banner and update this notice.

GigFinder OS currently focuses on essential browser storage needed for secure login sessions, account security, portal preferences and offline fallback behaviour. Non-essential tracking should not be used without appropriate notice and consent.

Essential Sessions

Session cookies keep approved users logged in and connected to the correct agency account.

Preferences

Theme and layout choices may be remembered in the browser for convenience.

Offline Cache

Some static assets may be cached so the portal can show an offline page if the connection drops.

Cookies And Storage Used

Type Purpose Required?
Login session cookies Keep approved users authenticated while moving between protected portal pages. Yes
Security session data Supports account access, agency separation, form handling and normal portal security behaviour. Yes
Theme preference storage Remembers whether a user selected light mode, dark mode or other display preferences. No, but useful
Dashboard/layout storage May remember collapsed widgets, dashboard order or interface preferences in the same browser. No, but useful
Service worker/offline cache Caches selected static files such as CSS, icons and the offline page so a helpful message can show when offline. No, but useful

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are needed for login sessions, security and core portal behaviour. Without them, users may not be able to sign in or move safely between protected pages.

Preference Storage

The portal may store preferences in the browser, such as theme choices or dashboard layout choices. These settings improve the user experience but are not usually required for the portal to function.

Offline Cache

The portal may use a service worker to cache selected static files and an offline page. This does not give access to live agency data while offline; it simply helps the browser display a clearer offline message.

Analytics And Marketing Cookies

The portal should not use non-essential analytics, advertising, retargeting or marketing cookies unless users are given clear information and a valid choice before those tools run.

Managing Cookies

You can usually block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop login and account features from working properly.
